Rodeo Corpus Christi Announces In-Arena Production Team, Television Broadcast Team, and National Broadcast Schedule for 2026 Events

Corpus Christi, Texas – Rodeo Corpus Christi is proud to officially announce its elite in-arena production team, nationally recognized television broadcast team, and national broadcast schedule. The event will be sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association (PRCA) and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) while boasting $50,000 in added money per event, attracting the sport’s top athletes to the Coastal Bend.

In-Arena Production Team

Rodeo Corpus Christi will deliver a world-class fan experience with a dynamic and high-energy in-arena production team, including:

  • Stock Contractor: Frontier Rodeo (11X Stock Contractor of the Year)
  • Announcers: Boyd Polhamus (28X NFR Announcer, 4X Announcer of the Year)
    Andy Seiler (2x NFR Announcer)
  • Barrel Man: Justin Rumford (10X Clown of the Year)
  • Bullfighters: Dusty Tuckness (17X NFR Bullfighter, 10X Bullfighter of the Year)
    Nate Jestes (6X NFR Bullfighter)
    Weston Rutkowski (4X BFO World Champion)
  • Music Director: Josh Hilton (4X Music Director of the Year)
  • Audio and Lighting: Crazy Heart Sound and Lighting

This team will ensure nonstop action, professional production quality, and an unforgettable experience for fans inside the arena.

Television Broadcast Team

The national broadcast will be produced by PBR featuring some of rodeo’s most respected voices and analysts, delivering comprehensive coverage and storytelling from Corpus Christi.

  • Play-by-Play: Creed Roberts (PRCA & PBR Announcer)
  • Color Analysts: Luke Branquino (Hall of Famer, 5X World Champion Steer Wrestler)
    Don Gay (Hall of Famer, 8X World Champion Bull Rider)

National Broadcast Schedule

Rodeo Corpus Christi will air live nationally on the Cowboy Channel, bringing the excitement to millions of homes across the country.

  • Slack – Monday, May 4, 2026 at 10am
  • Performance 1 – Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 7pm
  • Performance 2 – Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 7pm
  • Performance 3 – Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 7pm
  • Performance 4 – Friday, May 8, 2026 at 7pm
  • Finals – Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 6pm

PRCA & WPRA Sanctioned Competition

As a fully sanctioned event by the PRCA and the WPRA, Rodeo Corpus Christi will feature official world standings points and elite-level competition in:

  • Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Breakaway Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding

With $50,000 added money per event, 40 contestants in the Rough Stock Events and 60 contestants in the timed events will battle for over $550,000 earnings and qualifying points for the National Finals Rodeo
