Buc Days RECF Aerial Drone Competition (High School Students)
It’s time for middle and high school students to take STEM learning to new heights. The Buccaneer Commission is bringing RECF ADC to Corpus Christi. The Buc Days RECF ADC introduces students to aeronautics through programmable drones, giving them the opportunity to apply STEM skills in flight-based challenges focused on real-world applications. Prizes will be awarded to winning teams!
About RECF Aerial Drone Competition
This competition emphasizes flight physics, computer vision, autonomous navigation, and obstacle avoidance through hands-on drone programming and teamwork-based challenges. The competition aligns directly with Texas’ growing demand for certified drone operators in agriculture, public safety, infrastructure inspection, and defense—allowing Buc Days to inspire students with a forward-looking, pirate-themed STEM experience connected to future careers.
How to Join
Fill out the form to register your team for the 2026 RECF ADC. There will be a mandatory fee of $75 for registration.
