The Buccaneer Commission is proud to announce the second annual Buc Days Food Show Competition as a part of the STEAM Expo presented by Gulf Coast Growth Ventures.

The goal of the Buc Days Food Show is to provide an opportunity for students to highlight their culinary skills, while also improving their presentation and interview skills. More than 120,000 youth participate in the 4-H Food & Nutrition Project where they learn to prepare nutritious and safe meals and adopt behaviors that can help reduce their risk for chronic disease.

Please choose which age division the team will be participating in.(Required)
$30 fee includes entry for all participants. Junior Division- 8 years of age (in addition to being in the 3rd grade) and not over 10 years of age as of August 15th, 2025. Intermediate Division- 10 years of age (in addition to being in the 6th grade) and not over 14 years of age as of August 15th, 2025. Senior Division- 14 years of age (in addition to being in the 9th grade) and not over 18 years of age as of August 15th, 2025.

    I, the undersigned parent/legal guardian of the minor named above, request permission for the minor to enter the restricted area for Buc Days Food Show, participate as a contestant in Buc Days Food Show, and compete for awards. I understand that participation in Buc Days Food Show involves inherent risks, which I voluntarily assume, and I acknowledge that all general rules and guidelines outlined in the Buc Days Competitions Handbook apply and are incorporated by reference. On behalf of myself and the minor, I release the Buccaneer Commission, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any liability for injury or damage arising from the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. In an emergency, I authorize the Buccaneer Commission to obtain necessary medical treatment for the minor, with reasonable efforts made to contact me beforehand when possible. I also grant permission for the Buccaneer Commission to use photographs or video of the minor for promotional purposes, and I agree to the terms of this waiver voluntarily.
