Corpus Christi, TX, January 21, 2025 – The Buc Days Port of Corpus Christi Leadership Program is proud to announce the finalists for its 2025 program. The finalists were selected from 40 semi-finalists through a structured process. Each candidate completed Dale Carnegie training and took part in an interview over the weekend to determine the top 20 scholars.

During the semester, the scholars will take part in Community Service, Industry Tours, and a Mentoring Experience. Each student will be paired with a Buccaneer Commission volunteer mentor aligned with their career interests. They will meet with their mentors for at least two one-hour sessions, concluding with a final project and presentation to the group.
At the end of the program, $94,000 in scholarships will be awarded, with each scholar receiving at least $4,000. Scholarships will be announced at Rodeo Corpus Christi, presented by Miller Lite, on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
