Brave. Bold. Adorable. During Mutton Bustin’, aspiring young cowboys and cowgirls bust out of the chute aboard a sheep for six seconds of fame. Participants are scored on their own performance and on the animal, just like the professionals. All kids receive a score, even if they don’t hit the six-second buzzer.
Rodeo Corpus Christi Mutton Bustin’ is presented by Fulton Coastcon General Contractors.

Rider Requirements
- Children must be at least five years old on the day they ride
- Must weigh less than 55 pounds
- Must wear mandatory helmets and protective vests provided by Rodeo Corpus Christi
