I, the undersigned parent/legal guardian of the minor named above, request permission for the minor to enter the restricted area for Buc Days Food Challenge, participate as a contestant in Buc Days Food Challenge, and compete for awards. I understand that participation in Buc Days Food Challenge involves inherent risks, which I voluntarily assume, and I acknowledge that all general rules and guidelines outlined in the Buc Days Competitions Handbook apply and are incorporated by reference. On behalf of myself and the minor, I release the Buccaneer Commission, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any liability for injury or damage arising from the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. In an emergency, I authorize the Buccaneer Commission to obtain necessary medical treatment for the minor, with reasonable efforts made to contact me beforehand when possible. I also grant permission for the Buccaneer Commission to use photographs or video of the minor for promotional purposes, and I agree to the terms of this waiver voluntarily.
