The Buccaneer Commission is a non profit group dedicated to raising money for area youth scholarships. The Commission funded over $60,000 in scholarships in 2009 and is committed to continuing the rapid growth of its scholarship program at TAMUCC and across the other many scholarship areas.

Miss Buc Days Scholarship Competition
The search is underway for Miss Buccaneer Days 2010! Please complete the Application provided in the Links section on this page no later than February 5, 2010.

Qualified candidates are now welcome to apply to participate in the Miss Buc Days Flint Hills Resources Scholarship Program. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in the opening of Buc Days, including the "Capturing and Dunking of the Mayor" event, attending the Buc Days Pro PRCA Rodeo, the Buc Days Coors Light BBQ Challenge and the Buc Days IBC Bank Junior Parade as well as other events.

    Buc Days Music Fest Scholarship
  • An endowment was established at Del Mar College for their music department
  • A student is selected by the Del Mar Music Dept to receive this scholarship
  • Amount of scholarship varies annually
